First it was pop in the early 2000′s (wow, that sounds really long ago, now), then there was the cross-over to country with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Wreckers[/lastfm]. Now comes word that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Michelle Branch[/lastfm] and her next album may take her back to her beginning.

At the beginning of December, she came to a decision about the album that she had been working on for nearly four years… It was time to give up and start over from scratch.

We now learn that she is working on a new album in London, and the new project will take her “full circle back to her pop roots”.
