He’s a man who can do it on his own, he doesn’t need all the love of radio, and he still can collect the trophies and awards.  [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jamey Johnson[/lastfm] just has the talent of writing amazing music that everyone from an average John to another artist can relate too.  This week he was honored once again for his newest album The Guitar Song.

Everyone from Jake Owen to my next door neighbor has told me how much they love The Guitar Song.  After all its over 105 minutes of amazing music on two discs that is definitely the best buy for your buck.  Earlier this week Jamey got recognized at a Press Conference in Nashville at the Palm were they celebrated the fact that The Guitar Song went Gold!  This is huge considering there were only six albums of the 125 new ones on the charts last year were certified at sales of over 500,000!

The first single off that album was “Playing The Part” which did pretty well on Country Radio.  Here’s the video.
