So an Elementary School in Newton, MA is creating a little stir after banning candy for their Valentine’s Day celebration this year.  Turns out some schools in Chicago have done the same thing, due to kids who can’t eat gluten and peanuts.

We get the whole food allergy problem, but completely banning sweets and candy from school sounds totally crazy…

Do you think it’s a good idea to ban Candy all together for school parties or is this just plain ridiculous.

This is ridiculous! Making the many suffer for the few is wrong and just plain stupid. Stop is P.C. crap already! NO, life is NOT fair for everyone. Deal with it. If my child was allergic to something, it would be MY job to teach him/her how to protect himself/herself.
Our society has become a bunch of whining, lazy idiots that think that they are entitled to everything. These are the greedy A-holes that end up working on Wall street and stealing from everyone.
Stop giving trophies to losers; stop telling children who are excelling to slow down; stop telling children that 5th place is just as good as first place.
