The Red Solo Cup, made famous by keg drinkers everywhere, and taken to a new level of popularity with Toby Keith’s latest smash hit that bears the same name, is on the verge of being sold!

According to the CBS Chicago, The Chicago-based Solo Cup Company is being acquired for $1 billion by Dart Container Corporation, (the not so famous) maker of the foam cup.

Fans need not worry. The deal, said to close this fall, will allow Solo to continue offering its products, including the red solo cup.
