The third winner of last month’s Mega Millions Jackpot has finally come forward.

According to CBSChicago.com, Merle and Patricia Butler from downstate Red Bud, Illinois will walk away with one lump sum payment of nearly $110 million dollars, after purchasing ONE $3 “quick pick” purchase.

Merle recalled the moment he realized that they had won. He look at his wife and said, “We won.” And she kind of looked at me funny, and I said, “No, we won.”

The Butlers, both retired computer analysts consulted with lawyers and financial experts before coming forward and only told those closest to them, until today.
