Carrie Underwood’s fourth album, Blown Away, debuted on the Billboard Top 200 album chart this week at number one, with sales of more than 267,000.

Released last week (May 1), Blown Away is Carrie’s fourth album, and it’s setting new records for the country star. It marks Carrie’s third album to debut at Number One on the Top 200, and the fourth to debut at Number One on Billboard‘s country albums chart.

It’s only the second time in the history of the chart that a country artist has seen their first four albums debut at Number One (Miranda Lambert accomplished this last year).

And the Hollywood Reporter notes that Blown Away also marks the second-strongest album sales debut in 2012 so far (behind only Madonna’s MDNA, which sold 358,000 copies its first week).
