Garth Brooks has been king of the stage at the Encore Theater at the Wynn Las Vegas since December of 2009, and apparently he’s not leaving any time soon. It was just announced the Brooks is extending his run in Sin City until mid-November.

Though he was previously slated to retire from the stage in mid-August, the demand and highly reviewed show will add 16 more dates for fans.

The concert dates going on sale include September 21-22, October 5-6, October 26-27, and November 16-17, with two shows per night at 7:30 and 10:30pm. Tickets are $225 for the newly announced shows, though they don’t go on sale until June 9 at 10am PST. Check the Wynn Las Vegas site for details and availability.

Big fans of the country megastar can indulge in the Garth Weekend Package which includes two premium Garth Brooks tickets, three nights in a Wynn or Encore Tower Suite King, merchandise valued at $100, dinner at Switch, choice of spa treatments for two and Sunday Jazz Brunch for two at The Country Club. Tickets for this package start at $839.

Brooks was recently inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and, in addition, was honored this year as one of three new members of the Country Music Hall of Fame (the induction for that will take place this fall). He also recently sold out a performance this summer at the Calgary Stampede in Alberta, Canada (a 15,000-capacity venue) in less than a minute.
