With the temperature nearing 100 degrees outside, Josh Turner turned up the heat even more, as he took to the stage last night for another installment of US99.5′s Live Country at a jam-packed, hot, and sweaty Joe’s Bar, and had the ladies swooning from the first note.
Strutting the stage with a smile and a wink, Turner handled the new and the old, as he jump started the show with the self-titled track off of his latest release “Punching Bag” which hit store shelves on Tuesday.
Next up was “You Man” as Turner shed the guitar, grabbed the mic and sang to the crowd from each corner of the stage.

The night progressed as he continued to play the hits, sprinkling in songs from each of his albums, beginning with 2003′s “Long Black Train”, leading the crowd all the way through to his current single, “Time Is Love”.
As the 60-minute set sprinted toward the finish line, Turner closed the show with an encore of arguably his biggest hit, “Why Don’t We Just Dance”, and by the end of the show most everyone who was lucky enough to be in attendance was doing just that.
