Reporting Trish Biondo

Do you have your tickets to see Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheater tomorrow night?  The show is sold out, but don’t worry; we’re giving away tickets every hour until 6:00 PM with the Aldean Ticket Machine, so keep listening to US99.5 for your chance to win!

Jason is excited for the concert, but he’s even more excited that his fans will get to hear some new music from him with a new album on the way!

“I think it’s about just kind of pushin’ and tryin’ new things,” Jason tells us. “But also not ever getting away completely from what got ya to this point… There’s a very fine line right there… I think it’s cool. I love the record. I love the way it turned out. There’s some really cool songs on there that I feel like kind of push the boundaries a little bit, and I’m excited for people to hear it.”

Luke Bryan is opening tomorrow night, and one of the things he’s excited about is playing some fun up-tempo songs– like Country Girl (Shake it for Me).

“That’s what it’s all about,” Luke says, “to see fans out there having fun over a song that really won’t change the world but it’ll make some people have a good time. You can’t plan it– you can’t plan ‘fun’ like that, but it’s certainly fun right now.”

Tonight, catch the Teachers Rock special featuring Garth Brooks, Dierks Bentley, and Carrie Underwood on CBS at 7:00 PM.
