Trish Biondo’s Nashville Hotline: Sneak Peak into Scotty McCreery’s Dorm Room and Little Big Town Goes Gaga

It’s back-to-school season, and Scotty McCreery’s first year of college at North Carolina State is off to a great start. Scotty gave us a sneak peek into his dorm room and shared what motivates him.

“I got a few posters in my room like a big blue marlin poster that Guy Harvey sent me.” Scotty points out. “I got that beside my bed. I got my big Rocky poster above my desk, so anytime I’m feeling a little down on paper I can just look up and say, ‘Come on, get going like Rocky!’”

Little Big Town goes “unplugged” on CMT today! They play songs from their new album Tornado and even do Lady Gaga’s Born This Way with a bluegrass twist, which they say always catches fans’ attention!

“People in the crowd are like, ‘Whaaaaat?! I’m gonna get me a beer!’” LBT explains. “But, then…we turn them right around! It’s fun. Bluegrass makes people happy, so we turn this Lady Gaga song into some good ol’ bluegrass.”

And the temperatures sure are cooling off, but Brad Paisley is already thinkink about Christmas! He lends his voice and guitar chops to Colbie Caillat’s upcoming Christmas album which comes out on October 23rd. Look for Brad on the song Merry Christmas Baby.
