Trish Biondo’s Nashville Hotline- Rascal Flatts Looking for Blake’s Vote

Rascal Flatts takes over The Voice tonight to perform their new song “Changed” and they joke that they are looking for Blake’s vote: “We’re really, really excited about it – we’re really passionate about the song. It’s going to be great to stand there and sing for Blake, and I don’t know whose team – but I hope somebody picks us!”  Their brand new DVD “Rascal Flatts Changed –  All Access and Uncovered” is now out.

Sounds like Garth Brooks may be planning a comeback.  According to the Vegas Review Journal, Garth is planning a world tour near the fall of 2014 which would be his first in 16 years.

Congratulations to Hunter Hayes whose self-titled debut album has been certified gold.  He’s busy working on his next album and touring with Carrie Underwood.

Happy Birthday to both Josh Turner and Dierks Bentley today!

Our focus today with our CBS Chicago family is to raise funds for the Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts. Please join us.  Darius Rucker hopes you do too so we can help our friends out East:  “My wife, she’s from up in Jersey and a lot of her friends lost their houses and stuff. So, I want to say, ‘Hold on.’ I’m sure everybody’s going to get together and try to help as much as we can, ya’ know. Let’s rebuild.”   More here
