Pretty soon, Kelly Clarkson will be able to call Reba “mom.”

That’s because Kelly is now engaged to Brandon Blackstock, which Kelly announced Saturday via her Twitter account. And Brandon is the son of Narvel Blackstock, who happens to be a) Reba’s manager and b) Reba’s husband. (So technically, Kelly would need to call Reba “stepmom,” but c’mon, who does that?)

Kelly tweeted the news of her engagement to her fans Saturday, calling it “the happiest night of my life” (and calling Brandon “the greatest man ever”).

And she also tweeted out a photo of the ring, which she says features a “yellow canary diamond”:

Kelly also writes that Brandon designed the ring with jeweler Johnathon Arndt, and that that she “can’t wait” to work with Arndt on Brandon’s wedding ring as well.

A date for the wedding has not yet been released.

Kelly performed Sunday night on the VH1 Divas special. She is also scheduled to appear this week on the season three finale of The Voice.
