During the MTV VMAs Sunday night, the cameras cut to a shot of Taylor Swift while One Direction was giving their acceptance speech.
Shortly after Taylor’s ex Harry Styles finished speaking, Taylor was shown saying what appeared to be “Shut the f*** up” to her friend Selena Gomez. If you see the reaction on Selena’s face, you can assume she knew they were being watched, so she looked up and kept her mouth shut.
Even though these candid celeb moments happen all the time during awards shows, this one has received a lot of attention.
All of Taylor’s “Swifties” are backing her up claiming that what she really said to Selena was, “Sorry for my arm,” since she had her arm around her and she was pulling it away. “Sorry for my arm” isn’t a normal phrase to say and looks completely different when said.
Taylor said "sorry about my arm" to Sel & clapped for 1D during their speech and when they got booed. Stop making up reasons to hate on her.

Either way, the clip of her saying “something” is all over, and Taylor has not addressed it. Watch it and decide for yourself. (:58 mark)
