Garth Brooks Returns to Chicago After 17 Years for First World Tour Date
It all started with a promise to a random fan during a Q&A at Garth Brooks‘ New Year’s show in Vegas. Longtime fan Andy Roberts (aka ’Andy from Atlanta’) asked the question “What is the first city on your World Tour?”
The audience thought the first city should be that very show, in Las Vegas. But this didn’t make Andy happy. Brooks replied, “If it means that much to you, leave your phone number. You’ll be the first guy to know when I know.” So Garth got his info and promised he would be the first person to know when the decision was made.
Garth is a man of his word, and has called to let Andy know…the first stop of his world tour will be…Chicago!
After 17 long years, Garth Brooks is returning to Chicago for his first World Tour date!
