Calvin Harris Tells Taylor Swift To Focus On Her New Relationship

What started as a rumor has now been confirmed as true–Taylor Swift helped write Calvin Harris’ single, “This Is What You Came For.”

What started as a collaboration-kept-secret, has turned into an exchange of words.

Taylor’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE, “Taylor Swift wrote “This Is What You Came For” under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg.”

This confirmation set Calvin Harris off on his Twitter page, sending out multiple texts on the issue.

“And she sings on a little bit of it too. Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual,” Harris tweeted with the PEOPLE article about the single.

However, that tweet turned into multiple tweets on the issue.

“I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though,” he continues.

“Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though.”

The next tweet, “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.”

And no, it didn’t end there, he then brought in the Katy Perry drama into it clearly knowing it would strike a nerve.

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.”

He finished off by telling Tay to “focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you’ve earned a great one.”

He does add in a good message to end the conversation:

While most people think that he’s upset that Taylor’s camp revealed that she was a writer on the song, it seems to me that he’s upset because her camp put out there that she was THE writer on the song, and didn’t give Calvin any credit.
