“Suicide Squad” Racks In Nearly $30 Million at the Box Office

Despite horrible reviews, “Suicide Squad” has grossed $29.6 million in 40 international tickets sales in the first two days.

They could see at least $100 million this opening weekend.

Just on Thursday, the film made $20.5 million in screeings in the US, easily beating Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. 

The film opens Friday in 17 additional markets including the UK, Spain and Mexico.

Among superhero movie preview night, the film ranks third only behind The Dark Night Rises, which made $30.6M and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which made $27.7M.

The film stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinsman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez,  Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, and Cara Delevingne.
