High School Cross Country Team Takes Shelter Dogs On Their Morning Runs

A Santa Monica, California high school cross country team took shelter dogs out on their morning practice early this week.

St. Joseph High School cross country coach, Luis Escobar, had the idea. He filmed the team with the dogs in hopes to encourage people to adopt from shelters.

We love the pup who didn’t really want to go on a run, just wanted to be walked and held! haha!

This is a great idea!

This is right up there with the Indiana shelter who asked people to take their shelter dogs out for a walk while playing Pokemon Go!
