*Keifer Sutherland is a badass, and has been way before his TV days on 24. Today is the release date of his debut 11-track album Down in a Hole and he will promote it on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday August 24th. Check out his music video for “Not Enough Whiskey” HERE. US Weekly’s review by Ian Drew reads:
““Highlighted by his gravelly, whiskey-soaked growl, 49-year-old Kiefer Sutherland’s debut set of electric guitar–enhanced Southern rockers and smoky barroom ballads fares better than most other actors’ first releases.”
***CMT Crossroads almost always has awesome collaborations such as Dierks Bentley & OneRepublic and Keith Urban & John Mayer (which also was a very successful tour). The newest episode, after the July 1st paring of Charles Kelley & Rob Thomas, will be a December TV special featuring R&B star Alicia Keyes. Find out her country companion HERE.
***Chicago Air & Water Show weekend is upon us! Centered around North Avenue Beach, the event celebrates 57 years in 2016 with the Air Force Thunderbirds, Bill Stein, Chicago Police & Fire Departments, and former Chicago Bears player Charles “Peanut” Tillman will tandem jump with the U.S. Army Golden Knights!
For me? After hosting Miller Lite Friday Night for Drew near Forest Glen, tomorrow I’ll join the fun with Kasper at the Odyssey Sweet Spot Parking Lot Party before the Darius Rucker show in Tinley Park…WHEW!
If that isn’t enough excitement for you or me, US*99 is giving away Luke Bryan tickets all weekend long! And starting Monday, Drew is back with some BIG announcements about stuff happenin’ in Wrigleyville. The only hint I can give is…if you’re going to the Wrigley Field concert on 8/27, it’s a great idea to keep all afternoon free!
