You Have To See Dierks Bentley Shirtless Doing His Annual Polar Bear Plunge

Our Nashville Know It All, Becca, told us yesterday all about this!

Dierks Bentley just released the video for his new song and the title track to his latest album, “Black.” Dierks and his wife Cassidy who was the inspiration for the song, traveled to Iceland for four days to film the breathtaking and incredibly sexy video. He says, “I’ve shot like 25 or 26 videos, and this is definitely the one that will be the most meaningful to me.” You can watch the video here!

He didn’t get enough of the cold though! Once back in Nashville, he did his traditional New Year’s polar bear plunge in an ice cold lake! He usually does it on December 31st, but because he was 13 days late on the jump, Dierks vowed to stay in the 36 degree water for 14 minutes, which is nuts, because he usually runs in, submerges himself and runs out.

But he said, “I’m very superstitious. I can’t miss this. We’ve done it every year for 15 years … and I feel like I gotta make good on missing the lake jump.” At one point he got a little dizzy in the water, but he made it, and actually stayed in an extra minute for good measure
