Anthony Rizzo Reaches Out To Boy Who Was Attacked At School

12-year-old Henry Sembdner has made a new friend and his name is Anthony Rizzo! He extended a special invite to Henry to watch batting practice and attend a game at Wrigley Field after he learned he was attacked.

Update: Looks like Brett Eldredge is there for Henry too!

He’s home from the hospital now and we’re all very happy to hear that!

Now children and teachers around Chicago are showing their support for Henry by wearing Cubbie Blue with the hashtag #StayStrong!

Henry was attacked last Friday at Kenyon Woods Middle School in South Elgin. Authorities say that Henry was attacked by another student after he bumped into them. He suffered facial fractures and other injuries, but things are looking up!
