CMT Music Awards 2017 Nominees Have Been Announced

Country music lovers, the 2017 CMT Music Nominations are finally in.

Brett Eldridge revealed the nominees on the Today show this morning.

Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett, both of whom took home the Female and Male Video of the Year awards last year, are up for the category again. Underwood is in the running with “Church Bells” while Rhett for “Star of the Show.”

Some pop names also made their way on the ballots: Nick Jonas is nominated alongside Rhett for CMT Performance of the Year for “Close,” Pink is in the running for Collaborative Video of the Year for her collab on “Setting the World on Fire” with Kenny Chesney, Megahn Trainor is in the running for her collab with Jill Scott and Kelsey Ballerina for “You’re Still the One/Any Man of Mine/Man, I Feel Like a Woman (From CMT Artists of the Year).”

Fans will be able to vote for their favorites CMT’s website until the cut off on Monday, June 5.

The awards will take place in Nashville on June 7th!
