So, I’m Trish Biondo and I have been with the station for 25 years. I host Middays: Mondays-Saturdays from 10am-3pm.

I started out at US99.5 in the Research Department back in June of 1986. I was going to Loyola University and after class I would come to the station for work. It was me calling your home and asking you what you like most about US99.5 and what would you like to change. I also had a chance to move to Nashville for one summer and work at a record company. I met wonderful people there and learned so much about the country music industry.

I have held several different positions at the station. Being Music Director for many years was my favorite! I won the Billboard Music Director of the Year Award in 1997. Radio legend Casey Kasem presented me my award!

One question I am always asked is “Have you always loved Country Music?”
The answer “Yes! ” Check the picture of me in Reba’s line at Fan Fair back in the 80′s?

Highlights….oh so many….loved doing mornings for so many years (16) because I was able to talk to so many people! Do not miss waking up that early anymore though.

Doing our US99.5 St. Jude Radiothon is absolutely the most rewarding experience for me. Also, being called on stage by Randy Owen during Alabama’s Farewell Tour to thank me for my work with St. Jude was most humbling. I have always and continue to be such a big fan of Randy!
