Today (Feb. 13), McBride released one of the tracks on her forthcoming covers album, Everlasting. She puts her soulful spin on Elvis Presley’s monster 1968 hit “Suspicious Minds,” complete with bright horns and back-up singers.
“Do you get a lot of backlash from the conservatives in the country community?” King asks. “I think I have a very diverse group of fans,” McBride replies.
After several high-profile artists backed out of planned performances at SeaWorld last year, others are now stepping in to fill their shoes, including “Redneck Woman” singer Wilson and comedian Engvall.
